- He published the Perisan letters which became a success and made Montesquieu a literary celebrity. He spent lots of time in Paris in behalf of working in Parliament. - He was also associated with the academy of Bordeaux, he wrote several minor works, "Le Temple de Gnide", "Monarchie Universelle". -He sold his life in interest of the office due to all the estates he had inherited from his formal uncle and father. -After his father's death he is appointed the conculior of Bordeaux. -He was left to Parliament himself and had to learn how to control a nation on his own without his father's and uncle's rules or laws. -He became a very weathly man in office and resigned in Parlemant shortly after and sold the place in order to go to the academy, and later was elected Academic Franceias and left France, with that title, and traveled aboard the world. -He named England a constitutional monarchy of the wake of the Glorious Revolution. -He also created the "Spirit of Laws" which made de Montesquieu a very historic person.
